For securing the chemical production site Iserlohn-Letmathe the production cost needed to be reduced considerably and thereby the international market position was strengthened. The economic crises additionally aggravated the situation.

The technical projects have started in 2009 already. The staff had to cope with painful reductions. On the other hand it is important to create a worthwhile future for and with the remaining personnel.

We worked on several stages

  • Consulting site- and production managers in process design and single interventions.
  • Conducting interviews to get to know the leaders’ view on the situation.
  • Check of the technical project regarding their organizational change Impact.
  • Moderation of the core team to tackle key topics quickly.
  • Enclosures with the core team to work on key topics quickly, starting with a common understanding of the change process, to reengineering of single processes.
  • Training workshops for leaders to enable them to sustainably conduct dismissal talks with employees.
  • Analysis of news organization concepts and support of the change work up to the professional level

Parallel to the change projects the company has to survive in the market by providing reliable products. The challenging measures were implemented in 2010 and 2011. Despite the tense situations employees were committed to make their site successful.
